My two dogs seem to have a staph infection and went to the vet yesterday where she just recommended some shampoo. Will this help reduce the infection and clear it up??Is antiseptic shampoo an effective treatment for staph infection in dogs?
Maybe it's very minor, most vets will give an antibiotic for the dog to take as well.
