How to get rid dandruff without using any medical shampoo or treatment?

i have some dandruff problem so i need to know how to get rid of it..without going to expensive treatment or medical hair shampoo..because all the shampoo is well, not working for me!How to get rid dandruff without using any medical shampoo or treatment?
Try Head %26amp; Shoulders.

Also, make sure it isn't Dry Scalp you are experiencing.

My husband was using Dandruff shampoos for the longest time, and it didn't seem to help, in fact he was always scratching his head because he said it was itchy.

Then oneday I decided to buy the Dry Scalp treatment shampoo and it solved his problem immediately, and he has never had a white flake on his clothes since.

By the way I changed him from the Head %26amp; Shoulders Dandruff Shampoo to the Head %26amp; Shoulders 2 in 1 Dry Scalp shampoo. How to get rid dandruff without using any medical shampoo or treatment?
I've had this problem a long time, and tried many home remedies. Many of them work for some people, but don't work on others. What worked for me was using some form of oil (Coconut oil for me) and rubbing it into my scalp than taking a long shower. I had no dandruff for about 2 weeks! Thanks go to google :p
I've had a similar problem and spoken to a Dr about it.

I was washing my hair daily with Head %26amp; Shoulders and at first it seemed to work but then the dandruff returned.

When I spoke to my Dr he advised me that dandruff is actually a type of fungus - like tinea or athletes foot is. So when you start your treatment for your hair - with whichever shampoo you decide to use - you also need to try to remove the fungus from other things that have contact with your hair - your pillows and bedspreads, your hair brush, hats, the top of your couch etc.

The advice he gave me was to purchase a stronger anti-dandruff shampoo from a chemist (Selsun - not Selsun blue 5 - was one he suggested) - these are a lot stronger than those purchased from a grocery store and cost about $15. He then said to use it only about twice a wk, because using it more frequently could make the problem worse.

I also have to wash my hair every day as I have quite an oily scalp, even with dandruff so he told me to use a regular - not anti dandruff - shampoo.

Finally, he said after the condition is under control, continue to use the chemist anti-dandruff shampoo once every week or two to keep the fungus from returning.

Personally, I found the advice about washing other things that contact your hair to be the most important step.
Talk to your doctor first to make sure that your flakes are just dandruff. If it is, then Head %26amp; Shoulders works well. However, if it itches constantly, then it could be dry scalp or psorisis of the scalp. For that, you can try a dry scalp shampoo or if it is a bit more irritating, then Neutragena T-Gel also works as well. I have the latter, so I use Neutragena. My son uses Head %26amp; Shoulders.
A herbal rinse is a safe method of removing dandruff. Apply lemon juice with the rind on the scalp .After 5 minutes wash off with shampoo and water. More simple remedies at http://usefulinfo-dandruff.blogspot.com/
Are you certain that it's dandruff?

If you're a daily-shampoo'r, oil your scalp (just your scalp) after shampooing. The oil doesn't ';cure';, but it does keep flakes in place. If you're shampoo-ing daily, the oil isn't going to become icky is just one day.
Well I have never had that kind of problem but maybe you need to wash your hair more often or maybe go see your doctor.
