Is this m.canis or m.gypsium? What did the skin scrapings show at the vet? If this truely is ringworm, the pup might need to be on some oral meds as well, go back to the vet!My dob,pup has ringworm. He's on shampoo treatments and it seems to be slowly spreading.Any suggestions??

it may be time for another opnion. Its possible its not ringworm and you are using the wrong treatment. It could be another fungal infection, mites/mange, an allergy.. etc.

Incase it is something contagious, I hope you are washing hands well after handling your dog, and also washing bedding and such well. Ringworm is VERY contagious.
The vet had me use Lotrimin to get rid of one on my dog. It worked and was cheap.
here is a great site for good information

also, ask your vet about a long culture ( i think 7 to 10 days?) and ask about using the drug Lufenuron.

Good Luck!
first you should clean everything the dog is around. The ringworm fungus could be on his things causing it to spread. Try cleaning everything he is around a lot. Keep using the shampoo and eventually it will go away. Be careful because it can be passed to humans and other pets too. Close the dog off in a section of your house till he gets better.
Are these treatments from a vet? If so, ring them and tell them they're not working - they won't be able to help you further if they don't know what's going on!

If these treatments are something you bought yourself from a store then don't expect for a minute that they'll actually work. You need proper treatment from a vets.

Chalice
Your dog needs to be on an oral medication. Ringworm is not only notoriously difficult to get rid of, but is highly contagious to other animals and humans as well. I hope you are taking the proper precautions when you touch your dog. This animal really needs to see a vet.

Edit: William is absolutely correct. Lotrimin is about $10 for a bottle. Small investment, great results.
