i found that understanding your hair and knowing the problem is the first step....if there is breakage problems then buy a shampoo and conditioning for hair with breakage and hard to grow hair like frutics....use all the same products for the best results.

I would use emu oil , emu oil is wonderful for black hair. You won't want to use anything again, they have the emu shampoo and conditioner on www.hairstimulator.net not sure about a treatment, but you won't go wrong with the shampoo and conditioner

if you can afford designer, then biolage moisturizing is really good. if you're on a budget, dove shampoo is pretty good.
